Board of Directors

Board Composition

Crew’s Board members represent an extensive mix of experience, expertise, and perspectives, all of which reflect the diverse and complex nature of the business environment in which we operate. To ensure our Board remains equipped to meet the challenges of this dynamic landscape, our GEHS&S Committee annually reviews the skills and experience of the current Board members. This process aims to identify areas where additional expertise could strengthen our collective skillset and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

Board Diversity

The Board believes that considering the broadest group of individuals who have the skills, knowledge, experience, and character required to provide the leadership needed to achieve our business objectives, without reference to their age, gender, race, ethnicity, or religion, is in the best interests of Crew and its stakeholders. The benefits of diversity within the Board and management levels are recognized but will not compromise its principles by imposing mandatory quotas or targets. In early 2015, the GEHS&S Committee recommended, and the Board approved, a formal written Board Tenure and Diversity Policy founded on these principles.

To maintain the effectiveness of this policy, the GEHS&S Committee monitors the process undertaken in connection with selecting nominees for directors or candidates for executive positions at Crew. This committee has an obligation to consider all candidates, including women or those that identify as a minority, fairly and responsibly on merit and based on a balance of their skills, knowledge, and experience. The committee will also periodically review the number of women or minorities serving on the Board or in management to evaluate whether it is desirable to adopt additional requirements or policies with respect to the diversity of the Board and management.
