Crew's ability to deliver enhanced value for stakeholders is supported by our strong corporate governance practices.
Crew believes the principles of strong corporate governance, transparency, and integrity set the foundation for ethical and effective decisions while contributing to the strengthening alignment between our Board of Directors (“Board”), management, and stakeholders.
At the Board level, Crew has established a robust framework that defines our environmental, social, and governance practices, ensures accountability, effective oversight, and underpins our fundamental business tenets. The Board, either directly or through its committees, is responsible for Crew’s stewardship in key areas, including vision, strategic planning and objectives, leadership, risk management, compensation, and corporate governance practices.
The Corporate Governance and Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (“GEHS&S”) Committee, one of the Board’s sub-committees, has oversight of Crew’s ongoing ESG and sustainability performance. Every quarter, management reports to the Corporate GEHS&S Committee regarding Crew’s health, safety, environmental, and sustainability performance and collaborates with the Board on areas for continuous improvement.
As part of Crew’s short-term incentive bonus program, the Board evaluates ESG performance, which accounts for 15% of the compensation weighting.
